Scale Problems... Errr!

So, just like I thought... My scale has been lying to me! Big time!! LOL! Two out of three confirmed it!

Weekly weigh in will resume on Sunday! 

On another note, things have been going pretty well... FOOD WISE!

Running in the Heat!

Well, it's going to be a hot one today! 98 degrees in the City of Brotherly Love... But, I'm pretty sure it's going to feel like it's 105!

I thought long and hard about running tonight... And, I've decided, why not?! I need to get use to running in all conditions... Hot, cold... It all does the body good!

The only thing I need to worry about when running in high temps is HYDRATON! I must keep the body hydrated! That is very important!

So, I'm excited about my run tonight! I'm looking forward to meeting up with BGR! It's like, as soon as I join them, I can feel the motivation to strive for my very best!

It's so needed... And I love it! :)

Surprised About This Week's Weigh-In!

I am so surprised about this week's weigh-in... Last week, I stepped on the scale and just about cried when I saw 218lbs... But, I couldn't be mad... because I really let myself go over the holiday break! But, this week... all I could say to myself is... if I would've stayed on track last week... I probably would've been seeing a weight less than 200lbs this week... But, it's okay! Any loss is a good loss, right!

Next week, I'm looking to be under 200lbs... and it better not say... 199.8lbs! LOL! And then I step back on and says 201lbs... I'm sure someone out there can relate... you get on to weigh yourself... and you're happy with the result, so you get off and get back on... and it goes up a pound or two... Now, that sucks!

Couch to 5K

Tomorrow after work... I can't wait... I will be meeting with a runners group to get this ball rolling! I am so excited... Can you feel my excitement?? I believe it's and 8 week program, three days a week! I'll get more details on the program tomorrow... Stay tuned!

Now, all I have to do is get this Zumba thing going and I'll be on my way!!

Twitter Feeds

Twitter feeds are definitely a girl's best friend! There is definitely a lot of truth in a some of the tweets that I have come across... when it comes to dieting and trying to lose weight... it's definitely better if you plan ahead! Plan your meals, plan your exercise... PLAN IT ALL! Set a routine! Over the next couple of days, I'm going to do just  that...

How many times do you come in to the kitchen?! Hungry... and you don't know where to begin... so, you go for the comfort food! Just think, if the meals were planned... or even made a couple of days in advance, it would eliminate the unhealthy eating! At least, we hope, right?!

So, in a couple of days... I will post my meal plan for the rest of this week... along with a practical workout plan!

It's late now... and I should be getting my rest...

Back 2 Business!

Well, I must admit, I really enjoyed myself this past holiday week! Too much, if you ask me... Weighed myself last Sunday and I was 209lbs... I checked again... a week later (July 8)... the scale surprised me with a whopping 218lbs. But, I can't be mad, because I know exactly what I did...

So, where do I go from here, since I know my mistakes?!

For starters, last night my husband and I decided to do a little shopping at Ross. While browsing through the racks, I came across a bin with some great workout stuff! Could it be a sign?! Anyway, they had some great things... they had the ab wheel, thighmaster (a cheap knockoff), sauna suit, ankle/wrist weights and a tummy trimmer. Of all the neat things in the bin, I opted for the sauna suit!

Why the sauna suit?!

Well, it really makes you sweat! And when you sweat, you lose excess water weight and it also rids the body of impurities! Leaving you feeling a lot lighter and refreshed!

This suit is definitely going to be my "go-to" for all my future workouts! On July 15th, I will take more pictures... and add them to the Photos tab! I'm actually excited to see what the results will be as I compare the new pics to the old! :)
